Jeane has worked in the Bermuda Public Service for the past eighteen years in various capacities, having begun in architecture and facilities management.  She is Bermuda’s first Director of Energy and now has an expanded portfolio that includes telecommunications, space and satellite.  During her time with the Department, the Energy team produced the Energy White Paper 2011, a National Electricity Policy in 2015, the Electricity Act 2016, the National Fuels Policy 2018, and migrated the responsibility for the regulation of electricity to the Regulatory Authority in 2016.

Gina Ebanks-Petrie, BSc Biology (Hons), MSc Environmental Management (Distinction), has worked in the Department of Environment for over 30 years and was appointed Director of Environment in 1996. During her tenure as the Director of Environment, Gina has guided the development of the department from a small staff of 16; primarily responsible for the marine environment to a current staff complement of 41 with added responsibilities for the conservation and management of terrestrial resources and environmental assessment services.

He is one of only 500 Chamber professionals worldwide to ever earn this designation. A journalist by profession, he is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and an Organizational Management Certificate from the Ivy School of Business in Toronto, Canada.

Tristan Hydes is a Deputy Chief Officer in the Ministry of Commerce, Planning and Infrastructure. Mr. Hydes began his career in architecture at local company, Chalmers Gibbs and Associates Limited. He studied briefly in California, before completing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, United States.

As Deputy Chief Officer, Mr. Hydes is responsible for coordinating and developing the Ministry’s policy for planning and infrastructure. He also oversees several portfolio areas and ministerial projects including the Department of Vehicle and Driver’s Licensing, Department of Planning, National Roads Authority, National Energy Policy and the George Town Revitalisation Initiative.

Mr. Hydes serves as a Ministry’s representative on the board of the National Roads Authority.
